For the Lovely Lady I met at Michaels yesterday...

Yes, I met a lovely ladies who was wearing a red scarf just like the above. She was so kind as to tell me how she wrapped it about her neck. She also divulged she had gotten it at a craft sale and was hoping to find another in teal. She inspired me to create this one! I don't know if she'll find her way to my blog, but just in case she does... Hi Sweet Lady! I made this for you!

Funky colors for teens!

This is a custom order I just completed for a local teen. She loves black, white and purple, so we planned together to choose how the colors would be worked on the hat. Then I found these fantastic craft buttons as a finishing touch!

I don't know about you, but Autumn is my favorite season - I love all the colors of the leaves! There is something amazing about the smell of Autumn too... the cool crisp air smells SO good! Then there are the apple and pumpkin picking trips, so much fun! I love things made with apples... apple pie, apple crisp, apple turnovers, and apple cider of course!

I've got a new design available! Woot! This beret is very similar to the one in Kit Kittredge's Beret and Mittens Set which is sold out on the American Girl Doll website.

Just like all my hats, this is 100% US Grown cotton, and is available in your choice of colors.

Intruducing the "Abby" Hat!

Custom designed for my three year old granddaughter who is a HUGE fan of this adorable fairy, the "Abby" hat is Bright Pink with Purple trim, purple and pink pom-pom pony tails. She has braids of those two colors and Bright Blue to match her eyes. Her eyes are three dimensional - the eyelashes stick out just like ours! How cool is that? "Abby" also sports pretty yellow flowers in her "hair"!

Note the rope twist rather than braids... a good option when choosing only two colors. The mouth on this one was done with the dark pink... if I was making this for a boy, I'd use red instead. The square topped hats take more yarn than the round so the price for this is a bit higher ...
